Good News, late is better than never!

First off,, I Know. It has been along time since i have updated. Part of the reason i quit blogging was the last blog of mine, it stirred up alot of shall i say bad things. I removed it for the trouble it was apparently causing. For people to be putting down a young mother who just lost her little baby girl due to a violent father, and to be so crude to say you have no pitty for that poor little baby, who suffered until she finally passed. To this minute it still spins me up. I could understand some comments but some were way to harsh, if you want to be a cold hearted SOB, then fine, but not here.

Now for the news everyone has been waiting for......

I have finally signed for the US Navy. I will be going to bootcamp in may, although I didnt get the job i wanted, i will be able to switch to that job in about 2 years. But I do have a pretty cool job. I will be a sailor on a MineSweeper, using some pretty cool equipment to detect mines. You can definetly anticipate more blogging from us, specially after we get stationed somewhere.
I had to go this past Saturday to the local base for our division meeting, mainly just a cookout and games. This past Wednesday night i had to go to the recruiting station for our monthly real meeting, where we have to show them we have been studying our booklets and know our knowledge. High School ROTC really paid off, I know most everything there is to know in the book. Since I have previous drill/marching experience I am looked at as a role model of sort, a leader. Now there are a few others with rotc but not many. Not to mention the fact that I myself have been raised in the navy, and the support and help i get from my Dad, has really impacted my life, i know what to expect. I know for a fact i will make a damn good sailor, hopefully I can be just as good as my dad. I have always looked up to him, I am proud of him for all his acomplishments and can only hope my son will be just as proud of me one day.

Yeahhhhh!!! I am so glad you are back online. I agree with you on the other post that stirred up the muck. People can be horrendous!

Keep us posted! We will see you at your graduation from bootcamp!
