Pulling in the Slack!

I must admit that i have been a little slacker lately.Like posting on a regular basis, but really i mean exercising. I haven't been running, i haven't been doing push-ups nor sit-ups. Well this morning i have changed all that. I got up at 0745 and went for my 1.5 mile run, i didn't time my self, i just wanted to get out and do it. I used to be able to run the 1.5 in about 11 minutes which was great, i was one of the better distance runners in JROTC, not the best, but up there with them. I figure that my run this morning was probably about 13 minutes, NOT GOOD. But i can improve, i know i was great, i know i can still be great, just got to do it every morning. And no, its not the smoking that slowed me down, its the fact i haven't really ran like i used to back in high school. I ran about every night.

Now the push-ups/sit-ups have gotten hard. But i can still do passing in 2 minutes. Which passing is about 42, not sure exact, but close.

Today was the first day i have felt this good in a long time. Pride.

You didn't just open that door for me, did you...

So the smoking may not be slowing you down. It's just coating the insides of your lungs with shit, which makes it harder to breathe, which taxes the shit out of your heart, that is pumping away like crazy, but hey... apparently that is OK. Keep on truckin! :o)
